Basic categories of online work!

Since it is quite rare to have long term security nowadays, the lookout for alternate ways to make earning has been on the increase. Thanks to the Internet, the needs of the job seekers are fulfilled. The benefit of working from the comfort of home attracts more and more people to search for ways to earn online.

There are various ways to make income online, which however fit in to two basic categories. 

1. One can do his office job from home and in this category of work the job is supervised by the employers. The employee is expected to work via internet whenever his presence is not necessary in the office. This can be categorized as a normal office work in which most of the work is done online.

2. Self employment is supposed to be the best way to make money online. Here,we are our own boss. Nothing is compulsory here. But, if we are to be successful, we must frame certain strict rules and should see that we follow them. We can enjoy the comfort of working from home without compromising on the assignment that we undertake. Unless we are regular in our work, we cannot expect to be hired by the freelancing sites which are quite particular about prompt submission of the tasks. 

There are advantages and disadvantages in each of these types of online work.

In the first category of working from home under the direct supervision of the boss, we have our income secured, but we cannot expect to work in our timings. In the second category of self employment, we have no one to direct us. We do enjoy working, with the family around, but unless we are a bit disciplined in our work we cannot expect to make good income online.
